Upload your sketch, your photos, and the scope you agreed on site. We build the estimate line by line and send back an ESX file that opens in Xactimate®, ready for your price list and your header. The estimating desk you never had to hire.
Independent of Verisk. Xactimate® is a trademark of Verisk Analytics, Inc.; we deliver standard ESX files that open in it.
We're in invited beta, so you won't find a testimonial wall here. You'll find the work.
When we rebuild an estimate from a locked PDF, it's exact: in our latest Carbon delivery audit, 279 of 280 comparable lines reconciled to the cent.
Our averages and allowances come from over 450+ measured restoration estimates: carrier, contractor, and public adjuster files. Not guesses.
Meridian was started by a working restoration estimator who was done giving his evenings to line items. When we flag a line, it's in plain estimator English, and the last word is always yours.
We carried it 95 yards. The last five are yours.
Your sketch or ESX, your photos, and the scope you agreed on site all go into the portal. From there, our estimating team takes the field. You know the job; we don't guess at it.
Every line item and quantity, with the conventions built in: flood-cut logic, the full detach-and-reset suite, the lines estimators miss. Anything we weren't sure about is flagged in plain English.
Open the ESX file, add your general conditions, your header and price list, make your tweaks, and punch it in. Your estimate, your name on it.
Every estimate that dies on your desk is a job somebody else landed. When estimates stop eating evenings, more of them go out the door, and more of them come back signed.
Not a line-item lookup. We know what comes with a flood cut, what a gut job flips, and which lines get left off when it's 9 PM and you're tired. Those lines go in.
You get a real ESX file. No bot on your machine, no new software, no second software seat. Your price list prices it; your header goes on it.
Every estimate sitting on your desk is a homeowner waiting on a number. Send the job over the day you walk it, and it comes back written while the walkthrough is still fresh.
Priced per user, per month; every user is the same price. Line-item allowances pool across your whole office. Monthly, no contract, no percentage of the claim.
Carbon and Redline are ready today. Margin ships when it's proven.
Someone hands you a PDF and expects you to work from it. Retyping it is an evening of typo hunting. Carbon hands it back as a working ESX file: every line, every quantity, exactly as written. Their estimate becomes your starting point, ready for your price list and your changes.
Somewhere in the gap between your estimate and theirs is money worth fighting for. Redline finds every difference, line by line: missing trades, short quantities, and the few categories carrying most of the gap. The document that wins the supplement, in your inbox in minutes instead of an evening.
Something always eats the margin, and nobody sees it until the job closes out. Margin shows you where the money goes before it gets there: materials, equipment and labor, pulled from the estimate you already have. Because the margin is the part you keep.
Tell us about your shop. We onboard a few at a time so every first estimate gets our full attention, and we'll call you with an access code.

Yes. You get a standard ESX file and open it in your own Xactimate® seat, the same as any estimate you wrote yourself. We never touch your seat and nothing installs on your machine. Meridian is an independent company, not affiliated with Verisk.
You are, by design. We build it; your estimator or authorized reviewer approves every line before it goes out. We're your estimating desk, not your signature.
The physical line items we put into your estimate. Flags, notes and section headers never count. Carbon, our estimate extract, counts the lines we pull from the PDF.
If you run out mid-estimate, we'll finish it for you anyway! After that you can add a 1,000-line pack or move up a plan, whichever makes sense. There is never a surprise bill.
On Black and Signature, yes. Unused line items carry forward for up to 90 days, capped at one extra month of your plan allowance. Busy in the spring and quiet in August? They wait for you.
Yours. We build the line items; you set the price list and tax in your estimating software and it prices out the way it always has.
Yes. Every seat is the same price and everyone draws from one pool. Each franchise or office gets its own account, so a Springfield office and a Worcester office never share a bill.
Your jobs are yours. We don't sell or share your data, and we keep your files only as long as it takes to deliver and support your estimate.
